Summerfest – August 2
Please Note: There will be no worship service at Trinity on Sunday, August 2.
Instead, join us for our annual Summerfest Worship Service at 9:30 AM at Brace Lake.
GPS Neighboring Address: 1481 Orchard Dr. Marshall, MI. The Summerfest property does not have an official address. Once you arrive in the area, follow the Trinity Summerfest signs to the worship location.

Take Mansion Street east to N. Marshall Avenue and turn right. Continue south to Hughes/Homer Road (flashing light) and turn left. Travel east past Marshall Academy to 18½ Mile Road and turn right. Continue to S. Orchard Road and watch for the Trinity Summerfest signs.

Community Dinner – Tuesday, August 11
Please join us on Tuesday, August 11, for our FREE Community Dinner from 4:30–6:00 PM.We'll be serving Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwiches, along with a variety of assorted salads and sides.
Salad and dessert donations are always welcome, and volunteers are always appreciated!

MACS School Supply Drive
‍MACS and Highpoint Community Bank are collecting backpacks and school supplies to help local students prepare for the new school year.
‍Most-needed items include: Backpacks, #2 pencils, colored pencils, crayons, glue sticks, spiral notebooks, pocket folders, dry-erase markers, pencil boxes, pencil sharpeners with lids, and kid-size scissors.Donations may be dropped off during regular business hours at Highpoint Community Bank, 124 W. Michigan Ave., Marshall.
Monetary donations are also welcome.
Checks should be made payable to MACS Inc. and mailed to P.O. Box 611, Marshall, MI 49068.

Families with students attending Marshall Public Schools, MarLee, or Academy should call 269-781-2954 to schedule a pickup appointment.

Home Tour Box Lunches
Marshall’s Annual Home Tour will take place September 12–13 this year. Although Trinity will not be an official Home Tour stop this year, we will once again offer our popular box lunches to visitors attending the event. In past years, we have sold around 60 lunches during the tour weekend. 🥪🍪Earlier in the day on September 12, Debbie Egnatuk and Becky Wright will be coordinating the box lunch outreach for the public.If you would like to help prepare, serve, or assist with this ministry of hospitality, please reach out to Debbie Egnatuk. Thank you for helping us welcome our community!

Trinity’s Stained Glass Window Tour
Join church historian Brooks Grantier on Saturday, September 12, for a guided evening tour of Trinity Episcopal Church's beautiful stained-glass windows. Enjoy a reception with hors d'oeuvres, appetizers, and wine at 8:15 PM in the Parish Hall, hosted by Neil and  Becky Somsel, followed by the tour at 9:00 PM (rain or shine).This event is free and open to the public. Donations to Trinity's Building Restoration Fund are appreciated. A sign-up sheet for appetizer and hors d'oeuvres donations is available in the Parish Hall.

Bishop Search Update –
Episcopal Diocese of the Great Lakes
‍The Standing Committee has announced the three nominees for election as the first Bishop Diocesan of the Episcopal Diocese of the Great Lakes. This marks an important milestone as we prepare to elect our first bishop as one united diocese.Parishioners are encouraged to learn more about the candidates by visiting the diocesan website, where you can view each candidate's biography and introductory video. Meet-and-Greet events will be held across the diocese and online during the week of September 20, with details to be announced soon.The election will take place at the Diocesan Convention on Saturday, October 24, at the VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center in Muskegon. Convention worship and business sessions, including the election, will be livestreamed.Please keep our diocese, the nominees, and their families in your prayers during this season of discernment.

‍Almighty God, giver of every good gift and source of all wisdom, look with favor upon your Church in the Episcopal Diocese of the Great Lakes as we seek the bishop you are calling to shepherd and to lead us: Grant to your people faith to discern, courage to choose, and unity to follow in the way of your Son; that guided by your Holy Spirit, all of our prayers may rise up to you, and we may continue to proclaim the Gospel and serve the world in love; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
