STUFF THE BUS FOR MACS
Saturday, October 25th, at FAMILY FARE, sponsored by the Lions Club 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The following is a list of food items needed for the MACS food pantry: peanut butter and jelly, HELPER box meals, instant potatoes and rice, beans (kidney, red, and chili beans), beef stew, snack crackers, Jello, pudding, and canned fruit.
We appreciate all food donations and your help in keeping the pantry full. Working together to help area families is truly a blessing to all.  Thank you, Harriet Carroll

Halloween Trick or Treat - Friday, Oct 31
Each year, we open our Division Street doors and restrooms to trick-or-treating families on Halloween Night around 5:30 pm. This small gesture is HUGE for families using our street to enjoy the holiday and to have restrooms in case of costume malfunctions! Thank you for donating small WRAPPED candy to pass out. If you would like to pass out the candy, please sign up on the Parish hall bulletin board.

All Saints Sunday
We will observe All Saints Day on Sunday, November 2nd. Please email or write down on paper the names of individuals you would like remembered who passed away in the last year. Thank you for submitting these names by Tuesday, October 28.

2026 Pledge Campaign
Trinity's annual pledge campaign kicks off this month. Your pledge package, containing a heartfelt letter from Tasha Shippell and a pledge form, has been mailed to you or was hand-delivered. If you need another pledge form, they will be available at the back of the church, or call the Trinity office (269-781-7881) to have one mailed to you. Please return the pledge form in the Sunday collection plate or send it to the office as quickly as possible so the 2026 budget can be developed, based on our proposed income. Your financial pledge is confidential, so please return it in a sealed envelope. If you have any questions about your pledge, contact Diane Vezmar at trinityepisbookkeeper@gmail.com or call during her office hours, 9 to 1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Vestry extends our appreciation for your continued support of Trinity’s ministries.

Pastoral Care Committee
The Pastoral Care Committee is here for you.  Please reach out to Mike Renaud (pastoralcare@trinityofmarshall.org or  269-830-2403) for your pastoral care concerns. The pastoral care committee is ready to support you in your emotional and spiritual life, and in prayer for your physical needs. Please also share with us if you know of concerns for others.

We will begin at 10:15 with a brief service, observing the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month with gratitude, followed by a period of silence. It will be a way to show our appreciation for those who served and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

10:30-10:58 service
11:00 First Presbyterian and Trinity Episcopal will toll their bells 21 times

November 11 Community Dinner
Julie and Todd are preparing Herb-Roasted Chicken with roasted vegetables on Nov. 11. Please sign up to help serve the meal and to bring salads and desserts to complement the meal.

Fall Garden Clean-up - November 14 🍂
We will be raking the leaves out of the Trinity flower beds on Friday, November 14, at 11 am to take to the Marshall City compost center. We would appreciate lots of support with tarps, blowers, and rakes to remove the leaves. It would be helpful if someone could bring a truck so we do not have to bag the leaves. Rain date will be Saturday, November 15, at 11 am. Contact Mike or Karla Love if you can help or supply a truck.Garden Door - please checkPlease check that the garden door is pulled completely shut and locked. Staff have found the door ajar in the mornings when they arrive. Thank you.

Prayer before Meals
Judy Kimmel Barnes (partner to Duane Cowgill) shared a prayer before meals that she wrote:
Bless this food, Oh God we pray,
May it help us through this day.
To do Thy will and work towards peace,
Around the world, may evil cease.
May this world turn back to you
And bring us peace and love anew.
