You Are Welcome Here

The Episcopal Church welcomes all who worship Jesus Christ and comprises 106 dioceses and one mission area across 22 countries or territories.
The mission of the church, as stated in the Book of Common Prayer’s catechism, is “to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ.” In step with that mission, The Episcopal Church follows Jesus into loving, liberating, and life-giving relationships with God, with each other, and with the earth.
The Book of Common Prayer is a treasure chest full of devotional and teaching resources for individuals and congregations, but it is also the primary symbol of our unity. We, who are many and diverse, come together in Christ through our worship, our common prayer.

Worship in the Episcopal Church has a wonderful structure, which you may find similar to worship in other Christian denominations - both Catholic and Protestant. There is lots of music, prayer, and silence. We livestream our services, which is a great way to check-out our community before you come. You can find our recent services on the Trinity Episcopal Marshall YouTube channel.
As you enter the front doors of the church, you will be warmly greeted and given a copy of our liturgy booklet, which includes all the elements of the service, including the hymns. If you have children with you, they are welcome to join us for worship. Alternatively, they can go downstairs to either the nursery or to participate in our Sunday School program.
Feel free to choose a seat in the sanctuary where you feel most comfortable. On days when we have communion, you are invited to come forward to participate. However, if you prefer to remain in your seat for any reason, you are still a valued member of our worship community.
After the Sunday service, you are invited to join us in the parish hall for coffee and conversation. This fellowship is an integral part of our parish life where relationships are formed and fostered.
When a priest is not available to celebrate Holy Eucharist with us, we hold a Morning Prayer Service. Morning Prayer is a service of worship led by a Deacon or lay person that focuses on prayer, scripture readings, and reflection. It's a shorter service than a Eucharist (communion service) and sometimes includes a sermon.
We hope you’ll join us for worship sometime soon. Whoever you are and wherever you are on your spiritual journey, the Trinity Episcopal Church always welcomes you.

Nursery and Sunday School are available for children of all ages during the Sunday worship service. Child drop-off is down the stairs, found in the corridor between the church and the parish hall. All nursery attendants and Sunday School teachers are SafeChurch trained and certified. Sunday School is a casual experience, featuring a basic message, a craft, and fun activities. Children are also welcome to join the worship service if they prefer! We enjoy the joyful noise of children in our worship space.

Parking is available in the street along the front and side of the church, as well as in the parking lot across Mansion St. There is accessible parking in front of the church and in the small lot in the rear. Both locations have accessible entrances. The main entrance is through the two doors closest to Mansion St.
