Priest-in-Charge

Deacon Wendy has been a beloved part of Trinity Episcopal Church for many years—first as a lay leader beginning in 1984, and then being ordained to the Diaconate in July 2020. In her ministry, Wendy serves as an agent of the Bishop with a particular focus on charity and outreach, helping guide the church’s mission to serve those in need. Wendy’s journey is rooted in a lifelong sense of calling, shaped by three years of deacon school and continued growth through ongoing education and ministry. Her heart for service and justice shines through her passion for Creation Care, ministry with young children—especially those who are underserved—and a deep attentiveness to where the Holy Spirit is calling her next. She lovingly describes herself as "an introvert on an extrovert mission," energized by her love of God, family, and animals. Her quiet strength and joyful presence are a gift to the Trinity community and all who encounter her in ministry.
